Things That Make me Bang the Bodhrán

It’s a fairly long list.

I write a lot about women’s issues. I am a fervent feminist who hates femi-nazism. I like men, men are half of ourselves. I don’t think all men are to blame for the things in society that are unfair to women. I think a lot of women are responsible for the plight(s) of women. I think women should stand up, make a difference, be counted. I also believe that they should appreciate their femininity, celebrate womanhood and not be afraid to celebrate traditional roles.

I care a lot about Irish heritage – especially the campaign to save Tara and the Skryne Valley. I love archaeology although largely self taught; I have degrees in History, English, and a Post grad in Media Studies. I love politics, and any issue that affects society.

I think a lot about spirituality, I am a Celtic Irish Pagan in outlook. I love to hear from and discuss spiritualit with people of many different paths.

I hate injustice, bigotry, double standards,racism,religious intolerance and fundementalism. I believe in everyone’s right to believe whatever they want, but I reserve the right to criticise doctrines and dogma that oppose the rights of women, or homosexuals, or children, or minorities or any group. My motto is ”You have the right to be deluded, I’ll fight for your right to be deluded, but you have no right to foster your delusion on me”

I hate in particular double standards employed by Irish people against immigrants – after years of infiltrating every nation on earth (often illegally) our society regularly ignored the plight of men, women and children who have something valuable to contribute to our society. In fairness I also deplore the lack of respect shown to Irish culture by a tiny section of immigrants but they are only a small section in comparison to what benefits fresh cultural, intellectual, manual, and skilled input brings to our society!
